being fat

I went out during the break between classes today~♪ We went to eat at a fairly well-known ramen shop in Akihabara.
It's called Kyushu Jangara.
and I really loved their store description. : )
So the shop was really small, but it was very crowded (people were waiting in line to get in). Despite it's size, though, everything is very well situated.
some side dishes: pickled ginger and marinated pickles..
the kitchen, right behind the counter. I've said this more than once, but I love how you can see exactly how they make your food.
and to expand more on tiny spaces, this was the tiniest bathroom in the world.
I wanted something spicy, so i ordered a karabon ramen, with everything added. xD
Basically, ramen with two types of meat, a hard-boiled egg, mentaiko, and seaweed.

After that, we went to eat takoyaki at a good takoyaki place, called Kyotako.
There were a lot to select from, but we decided on "special takoyaki". Well, I'm not much of a takoyaki fanatic, so I can't tell you how it compares with other takoyaki. From the ones I've had before, though, this tasted about the same, except maybe more fatty. It could have been the sauce, though. Not saying it wasn't good, though~
And despite having a large bowl of ramen and two takoyaki, I still decided to buy myself a crepe. -.-`
Crazy Banana Vanilla Crepe
Finally, we mustered the courage to enter the seven-story sex department store. Some of you might remember this from my previous Akihabara post. Well, it's a whole building called m's, selling sex toys, costumes, etc. Unfortunately (or fortunately), no cameras allowed, so no footage of the interior, but I can tell you that there were a lot of vibrators, dildos, porn, and cosplay. The store was narrower than expected, but it was still seven floors. There were also quite a lot of people there. As for the demographics, most were Japanese (there were only a couple other foreigners excluding us), and most were guys. Ages ranged from about 25 to 45. Honestly, it wasn't as bizarre as I thought it would be, nor was it awkward. I guess it's only embarrassing if you make it to be embarrassing.
By the way, there is a special deal for costumes: if you allow them to take a picture of you wearing it, you can get a 20~30% discount, but that's if you're willing to have them post your picture on the board, too.
