-Alice in magical land-

I went to the Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant today. Actually, there are six locations in Japan (one in Osaka, the rest in Tokyo). The main branch is in Ginza, but since we had a lot of work today and the Ginza operates from 17:00, we opted for the Shinjuku location. It's conveniently located inside Shinjuku station and they have a special lunch menu. The only down side is that the place is not as nicely designed as the Ginza one and the lunch menu was very limited. I've never been to the Ginza one, though.
Well, anyway, the whole place was really pretty. Each location actually has a different theme. They're all Alice in Wonderland, but they contain different elements(?). For example, the one we went to was 魔法の国のアリス, which is magical land, whereas the Ginza is 迷宮の国のアリス, Alice in a labyrinth. And the menus are different for all of them.
displays
The entrance. Everything is inside a bookshelf.
The umbrella holder.
The interior of the restaurant. There are different seats that you can choose from.
I really like the chandelier above this table, but this is for large groups.
The VIP room.
We got the sofa seats. They had heart cushions. :)
Now, onto the food. xD
The drink bar was self-serve. I wasn't that impressed, as it was quite ordinary. They also had hot coffee/tea/chocolate, though. You could also order special drinks, cocktails, and alcohol, but those are charged separately.
Salad: two types, one corn, the other Japanese style.
curry and sausage cheese naan pizza
Very strange combination of the indian naan (curry flavor) and cheese pizza. It was good, though.
Cheshire Cat Meat Loaf
It came with a choice of rice or bread.
so cute!
calamari and cod roe spaghetti with butter soy sauce
It was sooo good!
carbonara spaghetti with bacon and half-cooked egg
chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream
queen of hearts cheese cake with berry sauce
Mr. Caterpillar roll cake
the hat was actually marshmallow coated with chocolate
cheshire cat mixed berry parfait
sooooo cute!
decapitated! ohno
And a picture with the waitress before we left. I'm the real Alice, though!
